Tim began his career in theatre, initially as a performer before moving into marketing roles at venues including Millfield Arts Centre and the Pleasance Theatre in Islington and Edinburgh. There, he learned how to work quickly and clearly, often juggling creative output for hundreds of productions at a time.
He later worked on large-scale shows with Underbelly, IMG and Boom Ents, leading campaigns and building strong relationships across the industry. At the same time, he developed a practical skillset in artworking, digital design and rollout, with a genuine interest in how creative ideas are delivered and experienced.
Tim founded GDL in 2014 to bring those skills and experiences together. His aim was to build a team that could combine reliability, creativity and care, and offer clients a consistent, personal approach in a fast-moving sector.
He remains at the centre of the business, leading the team, managing projects and shaping how GDL works with its clients: clearly, collaboratively and with pride in the details.
